The Compound Aisling Rawle

Check out my latest review for more on why I loved this, but this book offers a reality TV fix for those that love it, or validation for those that hate it.

Either way, you'll enjoy reading this one - and it's a quick one to get through.

★★★★☆

Blue Sisters Coco Mellors

A powerful, easy-to-read tragic but hopeful tale that anyone with siblings, especially sisters, can find some connection to.

Yesteryear "Actually worth the hype! Doesn't go in the direction you might expect..." — Rossi
★★★★☆

Yesteryear Caro Claire Burke

The book everyone is talking about, and with good reason. This might be *the* book of 2026. Not MY top read of the year, but a worthwhile one nonetheless.

★★★★☆

Famesick Lena Dunham

A funny, no holds barred, account of one of the most hated and loved Millennials. I had a good time! Almost turned me off from Bleachers.

★★★★★

Ghost Boys Jewell Parker Rhodes

As someone that works in the field of anti-racism in justice, I'm a little biased in my love of this, but I really wish I'd read this as a kid.

Technically aimed at young adults and children, this is one that people of all ages should read. Prepare to cry.

★★★★★

Jonny Appleseed Joshua Whitehead

Quite simply one of the best books I've ever read. For anyone looking to get into more Two-Spirit literature, or if you're just looking for an emotional, impactful read, pick this one up.

Whitehead was born to write!
